Al Powers

Owner & Founder

A standby power specialist and seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. Al began his career as an electrician and launched his first business at just 21 years old. Recognizing an untapped opportunity in standby generators, he founded the first generator company in Central and Northern New England to provide turnkey installations. In 2020, Powers Guaranteed Services celebrated its 25th anniversary with a team of 45 employees. Today the company has expanded to include energy storage systems and solar installations. Al is the current NEGDA President.
