The winner of our First Responder Mini-Split Giveway recently took delivery of his new mini-split system. Tyler Boucher of Surry, NH (pictured above, far right) is a paramedic and shift commander for DiLuzio Ambulance. We asked Tyler to tell us a little bit about himself:

“I have been employed by RJ DiLuzio Ambulance Service for 15 years since graduating from Keene High School in 2006. I have also worked for Rescue Incorporated in Brattleboro, VT and I am currently a member of the State of NH EMS protocol sub-committee and NH Advanced Life Support Inter-facility Transfer Committee.

I took my EMT class through a program with KHS. Shortly after being hired by Diluzio, I completed my Advanced EMT certification. I attended Keene State College where I completed and AS in technology studies and a BS in Safety and Occupational Health Applied Science. I attended Paramedic school in Texas through PERCOM Academy and Kilgore College and have been employed as a Captain and Director of Procurement and Logistics as well as Shift Commander since 2016.

I live in Surry with my long-term girlfriend who is a Charge Nurse in the Cheshire Medical Center Emergency Department. She has distinguished herself as a Certified Emergency Nurse, Trauma Nurse, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. We live with our two German Shepherds, Chase and Malka.

In 2017 we bought a piece of property in Surry with a 400 square foot house. In 2019, we were forced to tear it down as it was no longer safe to live in. We rebuilt a slightly larger 750 square foot house with credit cards and sweat equity. We were able to successfully refinance last year to pay off our debt.

I also run a small residential new home and remodeling business with the help of several good friends, Ronin Builders LLC. Our family is incredibly grateful to Powers Guaranteed Services for your amazing generosity and kindness. We will be able to make use of a much better healing and cooling solution for our small but well-loved home and look forward to repaying you and your team in any way we that we can. “

Thanks for your commitment to our community, Tyler! We hope your family enjoys the comfort a new mini-split system brings to your home.
